Gabions

Gabion is a basket or container made of welded nets, filled with stone. The steel wire is surface-treated with a mixture of zinc and aluminum, which ensures a long-lasting construction. The standard wire diameter used is 4.0 mm. The mesh size is 100 x 100 mm or 100 x 50 mm. A basket is assembled from the bottom, side walls, lid and dividers connected on the construction site into a single element. Gabion is filled with natural or quarry stone, or suitable recycled material.
